Amanda Wandler is a freelance writer, filmmaker, and playwright. She is of Secwépemc and German ancestry. She holds a law degree from UBC specializing in Aboriginal Law and a Bachelor of Arts from TRU. On a path of reconnecting with her roots, she is dedicated to learning and preserving Indigenous stories and culture. She has participated in notable filmmaking programs, including the CBC New Indigenous Voices Program, imagineNATIVE Shorts Lab, and Crazy8s. Whether in journalism or film, she is dedicated to sharing Indigenous narratives with authenticity and respect.
